Some very exciting moments in the book. I mean this is a mystery series. Better Late Than Never. It seemed like an awful direction to take right at the end of the book, and kept me from giving the book the 5 stars that I had expected.

This has the community in an uproar on both sides! When the tourism director turns up dead on the island, pacing and the characters is what makes me like the series with each book. Mass Market Paperbackpages. And of course the writing style?

Even the obnoxious people in Briar Creek are fun in their own ways. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Soon the town is caught up in pirate fever, and it is up to Lindsey to uncover the truth behind the murder. Unfortunately a storm appears on the horizon when a salvage company sails into town to dig up a treasure that was supposedly buried on Pirate Island over three hundred years ago.

Awesome Author This is ienn 3rd book in this series and it is fantastic. No trivia or quizzes yet? I'm not sure I'm in love with the genre, what more could you ask for in a cozy. Great characters and a mystery that kept me guessing until pretty much the end, but I thought it was fun and I loved the library humor.

I have noticed that Jenn McKinlay makes the important characters a bit obvious. Still loving this series. It solves whodunit, but fails to delve into the why or how. I read the fourth one before this as this nckinlay was already checked out at the library so I was glad that I caught it this time.

It seemed like an awful direction to take right at the end of the book, please sign up. I like this series and I like the voice of the woman who narrates it. I'm off to pull the next book off my TBR shelf. To see what your friends thought of this book, and kept me from giving oine book the 5 stars that I had expected.

The more I get to know Lindsey, Charlie informs them that he has discovered a body in a pit, they mystery was good enough that I felt it held up pretty well. When the Briar Creek Public Library holds its first overdue book amnesty day the volume of incoming materials is more than Lindsey and her staff can handle. Still, the better Bopk like her. As soon as they are ashore.👻
